Hi..back from the land of smiles or rather land of strong sun...
I am now all so tan...so much of wanting to maintain my current skin colour

Had gone to phuket from 2nd of july to 7th of july... 6days and 5 nights..
seems like a long time to spend in just one small island-Phuket.

At first, i was scare that we will be bored by the second or the 3rd day, but luckily we have a very friendly tour guide to come to pick us up from phuket airport. She gave us ideas on how to go about spending our time in phuket



Within the very hour we arrive in phuket...we have booked ourself 3 different appointments..and that cost us $180 sing each in total...
What a way to start of the trip.

2nd of july

Depsite arriving in phuket around 11plus (sing time) 10plus (thailand time), and despite that it started raining and pouring. Despite being tired from the trip, we still decided to venture out and explore patong town in the rain, under umbrella.

Enter straight into their red light district, and wat an eye opener, despite the rain, it is bustling with activity from events range from Muay Thai (thai boxing), A-Go-Go (which promise free entrance , no cover charges..blah blah blah), pole dancing pub with waitress dressed up in either school uniforms (more specifically jap style sch uniform) or Thai girl dressed up in ultra revealing clothes..and they will make passes at all guys on the street and will grab any willing party to take photos with them

Though it is a short trip to their red light district, but we still manage to buy some things back (beside 4 big bottle of mineral water), we bought 3 jerseys in total ( 2 for me and 1 for terence) shant reveal which jersey we bought but then i must say that our jersey is in good quality

ANyway how can a night end without a supper. Our very first supper there is actually none other but from the PIZZA COMPANY. 2 pans of pizza for 299 baht (equal to $12)...Freaking cheap can...



THat all...gone back our hotel room and snooze the night through

3rd of July



Wake up bright and early, exicted about our first foremost adventure -4in 1 caneoing trip.
Started our day with a free compliementary buffet breakfast at our hotel, even with a swimpool view...following on is a long but comforbable minbus trip to the jetty. Think the trip there is around 45mins.

Upon reaching, we were distribute with lifejacket, and off we were off to take some sort of sampan which will bring us off to our bigger ship out in the sea...





Allow me to exclaim about the once in a life time experience on boat, we are visiting 4 different island, 1st of all is a sleeping beauty island, where the island shape is a form of a woman lying down



we stop there and caneo into the bat cave where with the aid of torchlught, we are able to spot bat hanging upside down on the top of the cave and out from the cave is a small lagoon, where we got close up look at the hill, all those vegation are hanging at the side of the rock.....amazing ah



See the amount of tourists visiting there at one point....

NExt island is a island with different rooms, like honeymoon room, study room..and the rest i forgot liao...
the current inside each room is superb strong but then clever terence is able to maneovour with the oars quite well in there. I guess the canoeing uncle there follow is Also impress



Up next will be delicious and definitely authentic thai lunch on board of the ship. What an experience.



After lunch we were brought to James Bond island, why is it call the james bond island is mainly because of the show James Bond with the golden gun is shot there before.
Bought some braclets there also..

Last island is allowing us to free and easy where we can caneo or swim as we like on the sea...


Ending off with the caneoing guy gave me a self made flowers and stars made out from straw...



Upon reaching back to the jetty, the ever business minded phuketsians..they frame the photo they took of us before we left for the caneoing, and charge us 200baht ($8), so exhorbitant, but neverthless we still bought it as it is frame nicely...

Upon reaching back hotel, we went for jacurriz and relax there for around 1 hr before heading bAck to shower and off we go for our dinner..

Dinner is an adventure for us also, as seafood competition is very stiff there, and all the seafood stalls are side by side, so once u enter into their area, they will be like bees attract to honey, all flock around u pushing their menu into ur face, dragging, begging and pleading u to go their stall to try out, somemore promising us cheap cheap price...

Given in, we settle for any one stall and we order a pineapple rice, kangkong,green curry chicken and stringray...
After ordering, we specifically told them give us the serving for two people only but then apparently they dun care or they think we are da wei wang...not only is their serving huge their stringray is the biggest i had even eaten before....

Off course we enjoyed ourselves alot, but then at the same time worry about the price of our meal, but guess wat it is only 530 baht ( 20 plus sing dollars), can imagine our shock wen we see the price coz it is just soooo cheap...20 plus sing dollars in singapore can only buy their stringray ba...if not less....



After which, is our first ever shopping spree...yes i bought alot for that night...very shiok ah....
from the bargaining and the buying, knowing that i am picking up good and cheap deals..
hahahah

that all.................................went back hotel late but happy and tired..

4rd of July
Itineray is the concurred the patong sea...



Woke up fresh and not that early in the moring, after a sumptous complimentary breakfast buffet at the hotel, me and boy head down to the patong beach.
Wow...the water is so much clearer than our east coast sea and pasir ris sea..
at first we just dip our feets into the water and walk along the coast line, enjoying the water splashing our feet and taking in the sunlight. However as it is such famous toursit spot...we being tourist are naturally attract to the locals, who are trying to hard sell their sea sports and their bench...
Can u imagine....even the bench where u lay ourselves, drap ur towels and put ur bags that bench need to pay before u can use it...so we decide not to.....as terence is only holding on to a harvesack



Hhahaha...but this harvesack come in hindrance wen we start venturing out and out into the sea, as the wave is splashing heavily, we are scare that our things inside the bag will get wet, even though MR Ng keep insisting that the bag (which happen to be a deuter bag) is water proof or water resistant...

Anyhow...we both are attract to the waves further out in the sea, so we decided to each take turns to carry the bag while the other half challenge the incoming waves....
ANd we really take turns for this motion for the whole of morning and early afternoon.

Little did we know that..while we are enjoying getting carried over by the waves...luffing silly over each other get knock off by the waves...sun burnt is slowly creeping up over us....



By the time we leave the beach..oh man...we change nationality
and yet instead of hiding back into our room immediately to bath, we go to out hotel jacurriz..and yes...given our not so upmarket hotel...we have 2 swimming pools, and jacurriz and even herbal sauna.....Cool rite

Back to jacurriz...we even hang out in the jacurriz for almost 2 hrs....before we head back to our room..by then...u shld known how badly tan we are....

By the time we came out from our bath...not only are we screaming in pain....(me almost whole body...terence front part of the body-but the shoulders blade hurt the most)...we cant even wear our clothes without stritching or frowning...

After all these ordeal...as it is still only late afternoon, we decided to venture out into patong street again. Experimenting a different route this time round, where we got calls from almost all the massage parlours asking us to try their services, and not forget the infamous tuk tuk driver...who will call out to us asking us where we are going....

We pop by our favourite minimart call The family mart to stock up on tidits and mosiutrizer and sun block....
We walk and walk and walk...looking, shopping and sight seeing all at the same time, taking in every bit of their culure...
We venture into different hotel toilets ( as they are so much cleaner than the ones by the street), breathing in the stench of the patong drains every now and than...
Pass on one the the rare air-conditioned shopping mall where no bargaining is allowed. In there i bought a 8bucks shoes...and local fare to bring home...

In there we also spotted BIG lollipop...but apparently some inconsiderate being tore open the wrapper making this BIG lollipop unsellable anymore....



Moving on...we stroll back to our hotel room to deposits our loots and went to the lobby to wait for a driver to come and pick us up to watch the very famours FANTESA show...i heard that is so well know that is aclaimed by LAs Vegas...and lots of famous people like edison and yu wen le had gone to watch this show...

I must say that the place really awe us...BOTH OF US....
In fact it is so awesome and mangnificent that both of us cant help but keep exclaiming on how unbelievable we are to be in this face...

IT is like a mini islAND on its own...having different shops selling their stuffs...pubs....entertainment areas...stalls that we can play games...
but what awe us the most must be both the buffet restaurant where we are having our dinner and the theatre it self...
BOTH ARE HUGE!!!!!



The buffet is nice-international buffer, the show is fantastic...with elephants being the main lead and birds, chickens and dogs as the supporting...
VEry well trained and cute...the stunts done by the acrobat is awesome also...
I really think that it is worth the 60 bucks that i spend on it.....



5th july (wed)
Our third and final adventure out in the sea...Island hopping
mainly is to Phi Phi island...and the best part is we will be traveling to the different island by speedboat..
first time on board of a speedboat...nice nice nice
with all those bumping around, due to the waves crashing against our boat...totally shiok

First stop is to allow us to snokerll...exciting and yet nervous coz never snorkell before, dun know how to breath via the tube attach to the google...
But fun to feel the fishes (aka Nemo) swiming beside us and beautiful corals beneath our legs...
Terence keep commenting that how he wish he owe an olympus camera at that time so that he can take picuters under water...
too bad...however at one point... as our tour guide throw the bread to attract the fishes to come and eat, and one of the bread got into terence's life jacket, he is abit freak out, coz he is scared that the fishes will come inside him to bit...
But then guess the fishes is more scared of him then the other way around....
hahahah....

Next stop is maya beach...where all the monkeys are seen....
first time i saw monkeys so up close, feed them and even see them drinking water out from the hands of our tour guide...



Nice nice....a bit of hicuupp as our speedboat's engine is unstable thus we have to wait for a new speedboat to come and pick us up...however dun nid to wait for very long
And guess what the new speedboat though smaller but the driver drive at a so much more faster speed, that we can feel our body bumping up and down, fron and back, left and right non stop...though shiok, but however when the boat stop to allow us to take pictures of different beautiful islands, the boat sway too vigorously that i am abit motion sick...unable to stand up and feel like vomitting...though i did not vomit, but i know i am very unwell at that point of time...

Luckily...for me..next stop is lunch at Phi Phi island, finally got my feet on ground, hard solid ground, which help to ease my sea sickness much better. After a AGAIN buffet lunch...we have time to shop around phi phi island, in which we manage to buy something yet again....hahahah

last stop is free and easy for us....we have 1 and half hour to snorkell, swim or just relax out on an island...
off course we did not waste time to dip our superb sun burnt body into the comfort of sea water, though the constant abrasion between the life jacket and my shoulder hurts but i guess it is worth it coz i manage to snorell well and spend some quality time with Mr Ng....

As time pass quickly while we are having fun...soon is time for us to head out to phuket...
Had a fast and bumping yet superb shiok trip back via speedboat....fun fun fun with win blowing against my face and hair....think my hair should be all screw up that day ba....

Went back to bath immediately to ease our sun burnt body before heading for our compliementary dinner at TOP OF STEAK HOUSE...
Very nice, food is equivalent to Equinox, though it is only 8th floor, but the view is already nice, we saw the sunset there...nice nice nice....

We have like 6 course meal..with starters like warmly toasted bread, scrimp cocktail, comose chicken soup, main cours with salad, chococlate moose and tea or coffee...
Very nice nice nice........



After which is shopping again
cant believe time pass by so fast.....last second day to shopppp

Terence went to collect his customise jerseys....hahah...he is now officallyt sweden left back...No 5....

6th July (thurs)

Wake up late....had a slow day today...or rather more laidback day....
As usual we had our free buffet breakfast...follow by a trip down phuket town via bus which cost us 20baht each only (few cents), and we went to the only big shopping center there Central festival...in which i manage to buy a few cheap cheap shoes...

Drop by swesens to enjoyed very cheap ice cream that cost just 59 baht (2 plus dollar) with no gst and service charge.....heavenly....



then we went to Mayro...their warehouse supermarket....in which we manage to get us good deals with the truckloads of tidits...

Dinner at seafood restaurant again, this time we have phuket style noodle, mixed vegetables, fried squids and barequeue fish...oh man the fish is huge again and the dinner is cheap again.around 24sing dollars....



cant imagine...how we can eat like a king there and not pay the price of the king
that night manage to grab a very nice and almost similar to real Italy jerseys for terence's dad...at good price again

had waffle fries at their mac and terence had beef noodle for supper

mET A very nice lady maning her stall in which we patronise her in 3 days straight...coz we think we think she is very nice and sincere and i suppose she like us alot since we spend so much in her stall.....

Last day.....7th july
Woke up dammmm early to check up..had a quick breakfast at our hotel
and we were send to phuket airport with 1 hour to nuah there before we can board the plane..



Nice trip altogether...unbelievable experience..never thought would experience such things in my life...i did all in my this trip..real nice

but poor terence, he is down with diarrehea once he touch down on singapore grounds...
hope he get well soon
