Not so back dated post
After all, new year had just gone for like 2 days.
These few weeks have been filled with fun,laughter, excitement and proved challenging to me.
First of all, if not for the Valentine Day, where i feel like whipping out my collected dust camera, i wont have noticed that i have a truckload full of pictures that are not uploaded into my computer.
Hahhaha, which come to the challenging part in which i just mentioned above and that definitely relates to my work. Exciting but nonetheless tedious and ultra tiring. One can never imagine or prep urselves before hand in how tired one can be unless you really go through it urself, and guess what the worse part. IT is not yet half way through. Hahahah
Okie, on the happier note, i had a wonderful CHinese New year. As despite my unbelievable working hours, i still manage to squeeze time out for the annual pre chinese new year chinatown trip to stock up on new year goodies.
WE have fun, much much fun, though crowd is as per usual (crowded), and the weather is threatening to rain any moment, but we still have fun scurrying around looking at the goodies and taking in the chinese new year atmosphere.
On the chinese new year eve,which is our reunion dinner time, we have our all time faves steamboat, though it is just a small reunion, but trust me we have not so simple or small fare.
As you can see from the spread, we stuff ourselves silly after which played mahjong till wee mornings, or rather, shall i say we played everyday till 3 to 4am. Hhaha, how i miss those days, where we make jokes about "Finding chicken battle", hahahha (only understandable by the players). My Sisters and I even made our way down K-box to pledge our loyalty to the artisite like Jay chou, SHE, Jolin, Yanzi.................
What a fun new year. Off cousre it is not about all play, we do seriously do our normal pai nian ritual. And the normal yet yummy lao yu sheng
We went to our all time favourite restuarant:Red Star to have our fill on dim sum and yu sheng. Life can never be as good as the feeling of having a good family meal at our old favourite place, where all the fond memories are held(i.e Jacky Cheung and Jeff Chang)
Up next is my beloved Ci Mu (Luving Mummy) XXth birthday. I brought her on a shopping spree on saturday. Wanted to make her the queen that day, at first wanted to start off with a facial, but in the end due to some booking problem it is cancelled. Nevertheless i proceeded on with the plan of bringing her to Pepper Lunch (something she like so much, that she dragged the whole family except me down on monday to eat) to eat, then went around and bought her a number of things that are on her wish list. Shan't disclose here what is it, just something she like...hahhaa, and i even show her a XXXXX brand wallet in which i like, and guess what, she also fell in love with it and to avoid any impluse buy, i pull her away from the counter to allow her mind to think clearly. though in the end she did not buy that day, but she still manage to buy it today. Hahahha, like mum like daughter.
As i have this love of two pairs of shoes near my workplace which i had eyed upon even before chines new year, but i refrain myself from buying. But ever since then, i had been thinking about owing that 2 pairs of shoes till now, when i finally decided to go and buy, Proof guess what.........
No no no not that it ran out of stocks, size.....blah blah blah
my dearest bangkok babes with new addition decided to buy for me as ultra belated birtday.
Over the moon
And on the very same day, when i got home i saw the biggest valentine day present sitting on my table awaiting the new owner to be back
Yes yes yes, i am shocked, touched and many many mixed feelings. Feel so happy, touched that dear plan this for the whole week or more, went around looking for things to fill up a box, buy the suitable size box. But yet at the same time, xin tong that he spend soo much on me.
At that point, i am already truly contended with this year valentine day, it seems too wonderful to be true.
But little did i know, this is only part one of his plan.
On the actual day itself, he came down to the office and presented to me the largest bouquet of flowers that i ever owned. I almost fainted on happiness, cant believe it, really.
Cant stop staring at the huge unreal feeling infront of me
Really cant
That long necklace and the ring is also part of the V-day present.
Where in actual fact, i only told him that i want the necklace only, he not only double, triple but many many more times of surprises and presents for me
And there is the finale part, the dinner. We went to a super nice ambience restaurant with high end food but reasonable pricing. There is even no extra charges for the V-day. Shan't disclose the place coz i am selfish, wanna keep the place in hide as long as i can. Too good to be true
