Desperate Housewives VS Sex and the City

Watch the first espisode of "Desperate HouseWives", okie, quite a dissapointment coz the much anticipated built up of this be roughly the same as "sex and the city" is not true. In fact "Desperate Housewives" apart from having 4 female lead, and wore killer heels even when they go out for a short while and apart from the normal bitching and gossiping (which is a common trait found in all women) there is nothing similar to Sex and The City. And that not the worst, the worse part is that it is narrate through a 3rd person view which concidentally the first dead person in this show. Apparently there is "Gun Shot", there is "Secrets, dark one" there is "Mystery Man" and many more, and the 4 female leads look more like detective that are going on a mission to uncover some dark and untol secrets of this narrator. Doesnt it sound more of CSI than Sex and the City. There is absolutely no fashion in these show (except off cousre the killer heels)...coz the 4 female leads wore nothing fashionable or rather they are unable to pull it off like Sarah Jessica Parker. Okie, i may be a bit too critical, as after all this is only the first espisodes and maybe if i rem, i will watch the 2nd one. However, i realise that nothing can take over or replace Sex and The City coz the whole package (actress, the storyline, the fashion) is simply awesome.
